Job Title : CARDIAC NURSE
Eligibilty : B.Sc. (Nursing)/ Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing)/G.N.M.
Description : Plan and provide high quality nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards as set forth in the Nursing Department’s Clinical Practices Manual.

Rendering general
nursing care to patients in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
Coordinating
all clinical activities on assigned shift in compliance with policies and
procedures.
Maintaining
assignment schedule of Medical personnel to include timekeeping functions.
Performing
physical assessments of patients, updating medical charts, administering
medications,
assisting Doctors in examinations, performing basic medical treatments and
screening incoming
patients.
Maintaining
area of duty so that it is safe, clean and well stocked.
Enforcing infection
control procedures.
Compiling data
and submitting reports as required.
Perform
other assignments and duties as required and assigned and/ or necessary.
Ability to
meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: Standing,
Bending,
Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Transporting supplies, Walking for extended periods of
